2. Eligibility

3. Booking and Payments

A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive confirmation via SMS, email, or website notification.

3.2 Fares

  • Fares may vary depending on distance, time, traffic, tolls, airport charges, waiting time, and special requests.

  • Estimated fares provided online are indicative only and may vary.

  • Additional surcharges may apply during peak hours, public holidays, or special events.

3.3 Payment Methods

We accept approved payment methods including cash, EFTPOS, credit/debit cards, and online payments (where applicable).

You agree to pay all applicable charges related to your ride.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made within a reasonable time before pickup.

  • Cancellation fees may apply if a driver has already been dispatched or is waiting at the pickup location.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must:

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.

  • Treat drivers respectfully.

  • Not engage in unlawful, abusive, or unsafe behaviour.

  • Not damage the vehicle.

We reserve the right to refuse service if a passenger behaves in a threatening, unsafe, or illegal manner.

Any cleaning or damage costs caused by passengers may be charged to the passenger.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • MelbourneCabb is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left in vehicles.

  • Our liability is limited in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, branding, text, graphics, and software, is the property of MelbourneCabb and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
